Data Recovery and Forensics

There are few things more worrying than the possiblity of data loss. Often when a hard drive begins to fail, you will not be able to use it normally. Your PC may crash or display an error screen.

You may have also deleted a file by accident.

However, not all hope is lost. We have specialized tools that can work with a damaged hard drive and can recover some or all of your data (depending on the damage).

We have recovered hundreds of gigabytes for our customers, even after other technicians have claimed recovery was impossible.

What do I do if I think my data is lost?

First of all, shut down your PC or equipment immediately. Continued usage can not only damage the drive further, but crucial areas of the disk could be overwritten by such common events as a system update or other operating system activity.

Arrange to bring the affected equipment to our office where we can do an initial inspection and determine if we are able to save the data.

In the majority of cases we are able to do at least a partial recovery. In the event that your equipment is judged to be unrecoverable by our approach, we will refer you to a specialized clean room and data recovery lab.

Types of data mediums we have recovered

  • Desktop hard drives manufactured by Western Digital, Seagate and Toshiba
  • Floppy disks
  • SD Cards
  • RAID Arrays
